I Got A Puppy!

Meet Oodle!

Since I haven’t uploaded a blog post in a minute I thought I should do a life update… I got a puppy! If you don’t know me well or haven’t been keeping up with my Instagram this might be news to you. When driving back to Michigan from my very long stay in Nevada, my boyfriend and I had to make a stop in Colorado to pick up our little guy!

I have wanted a dachshund for so long and could not resist picking up this puppy on our way home! As we were driving through Colorado anyways, it only felt right to take a 6 hour detour to go pick him up. Prior to our purchase we had talked about getting a dachshund and already had picked out the name Oodle for if we were ever to get one of our own. I had been looking at breeders for awhile and I just so happened to look at the one I loved a day before leaving Nevada and that’s when we fell in love with Oodle and claimed him as our own!

All about Oodle

Oodle is a miniature dachshund, also known as wiener dog. He is a chocolate & tan longhair and about 4 months old now! He loves to snuggle, pop every squeaker that’s in a toy, and get to know other humans & dogs. He is very good for a puppy and is now crate trained and potty trained with some accidents here and there. But let me tell you… crate training with him was NOT fun the first few nights. Needless to say, Oodle can be a spunky and sassy pup when he wants to get his way. Some of Oodle’s favorite things are going up north, playing in the sand and relaxing in bed after a long day of play.
